About

Kayan grew up in a Lebanese household where food was a huge part of the culture – she remembers sitting at the dinner table with her family or going to restaurants and spending hours socializing over a beautiful meal. Eventually, her mother opened her own restaurant where Kayan developed her love affair with food, spending many years of her life learning how to cook and develop delicious, nourishing recipes.

Although she always loved to cook for others, she went through her own personal tumultuous journey with food, which led to her interest in nutrition. She began learning what was right for her body, experimenting and cooking for various diets like vegan, gluten free, pescatarian etc. and ultimately healed her relationship with food.

All of my life experiences have led me to this point in my career, and I am so honoured to be able to cook for others for a living. There is nothing that brings me more joy than getting creative in the kitchen and cooking healthy, delicious, food that doesn’t only nourish your body, but nourishes your soul.
